Călimani National Reservation is a protected area of national interest, located in north-central Romania, at the south-western part of Suceava county. This Reservation has a total area of 23.487 ha and includes nature reserves Twelve Apostles, Călimani and Lake Iezer. National Park is located in Călimani Mountains and includes the largest crater in Romania with a diameter of about 10 km.

We’ll meet at 7 a.m. at your hotel. We prepare for the trip and we start driving to Saru Dornei.
We arrive at the entrance of the Park where you will prepare for the trekking inside of the Park with an expert ranger. There are different packages to observe flora, birds or other wild animals. Lunch can be served over there or if you have something prepared in advance. In the end, we’ll return to Suceava after a beautiful day.
