You will enjoy a full day walking tour of the capital of Bucovina. Suceava is Moldavia second-biggest town after Iasi and is an excellent starting point for trips to the many historical, cultural and natural attractions in this region. Suceava city has some well known attractions of its own, including Saint George’s Church, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Bucovina Ethnographic Museum, with its folk costumes collection, and the main tourist site, the Princely Court.
Other sights in Suceava include the Zamca Monastery, the Bucovina Village Museum, dedicated to the woodcraft, ethnography, history and folk art of the region. The Bucovina History Museum displays old archaeological discoveries, coins, weaponry, old documents.
Most importantly for you is to visit these historic sites before heading to the painted monasteries area. We will begin the tour in front of the Administrative Palace, a historic monument of Suceava and after that, we walk over to the History Museum of Bukovina.
