      Our tour starts at the Palace of Culture. You will enjoy a few pleasant hours in one of the largest cities in Romania. In our tour, you have the opportunity to visit all the main attractions of the city. Most of them being situated in the city center. Discovering new facts about this city modern and historic highlights. For instance, the Palace of Culture, the Three Hierarchs Church, Gheorghe Asachi Library, the Metropolitan Cathedral and more. 

       An important attraction on our list is the Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre, the oldest one in Romania.

Itinerary

We start the tour from Palace of Culture.

Tour start from your accommodation from Suceava early in the morning. We’ll travel almost 2.30 hours to Iasi. Also, the tour can start at Iasi if you came with plain from a different city.
Palace of Culture is an edifice built in neogothic style on the old ruins of the medieval Royal Court. Inside you can visit 4
Museums. This is the starting point for our tour.

Walking tour to discover the past

We’ll be heading to Three Hierarchs Church. You will be amazed by the intricate pattern of the exterior walls.
In our tour, you will have the opportunity to visit all the main attractions of Iasi. We’ll be visiting next, the Metropolitan Cathedral. Roznovanu Palace is today the Mayor Office. Next in our tour will be Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre with a magnificent interior. Union Museum is another place with historical meaning for Romanians. Now we’ll be heading to a restaurant to take lunch. Golia Monastery with her tower will show you an awesome view of the city.

Return to Suceava

After this walking tour, you can spend some time at Pallas Mall or we return to Suceava. We must travel for another 2.30 hours.
If the tour starts directly from Iasi we discuss the next step of your journey. But if you stay in Iasi we separated at your accommodation.

Very interesting tour
I had a very interesting tour of Iasi. The guide told a lot of stories both of the sites and of life in Romania in general. He paid attention to our needs and made sure we got as much as possible of our time.
